Inspired by the ancient Triskelion symbol discovered in Newgrange, Ireland, these earrings feature a very similar swirl design. The Triskele—or Triskelion—has been assigned different meanings by different groups of people. The meanings most often given to the symbol are land, sea, and sky, as well as the Holy Trinity.
